Wildcard?

I haven't heard anything about a wildcard.   Apparently Charlie's Dad is not in the know either according to this tweet.   I'm not sure why there are 2 extra weeks but one can only hope!   He also posted Charlie is back doing his music, hmmmm, I hope that still means he's the 6th contestant.  He also agreed with someone's suggestion that Charlie should post new covers on youtube.

His answer: John Askew You're right, he should come out with something really soon. He's unstoppable!

11 weeks remain on American Idol 9 eliminations are looming that means 2 weeks we sit on our hands? Wild Card for please!

John Askew
Charlie's hard at work with his own music again! :) He is so much fun.

  1. But Ryan clearly mentioned a wildcard at the end of last week's show. I don't think they would retract that and especially not without an explanation. The numbers thing is confusing though. Shouldn't there be 8 eliminations? There are 2 finalists at the end. Maybe his math is just wrong.

  2. Ah okay apparently the wildcard is happening tomorrow. I don't know if the audience votes and we find out the result next week or if the judges will pick.

  3. They really didn't mention the word wildcard which would have been the fair thing to do after those boring male singers tonight. Goodness, what happened to Curtis, he was really off.

Ok, Ryan again only mentioned a tour spot. They could've at least given us the names of the 2 contestants.

  4. When I say wildcard, I mean that he gets to continue on the competition. But i don't see how that can happen when the top 10 already sang tonight. Sucks.

    1. No I'm pretty sure it is just a tour spot. And of course they're not going to announce the names because they want people to tune in silly ;-) The tour spot is very strange though, I can't see why they'd think people would want to go see someone who hasn't actually performed on the show as much as the other contestants... I'm thinking they already know who they will choose (and if the guy one is Charlie I'm guessing they are choosing him beforehand). Like I've said before, they know he is popular and that he will draw in lots of ticket sales but at the same time he doesn't seem happy being on the show itself, so it's a way to include him while at the same time not including him. It would be weird to see whoever gets the spot and then never see them again until the tour though. I don't know, this whole thing is just weird and doesn't make very much sense.

  5. I know, but at least we get something while including him without the stress of the competition. I think Charlie made such an impact that he will be remembered probably more than the person in the 10th or 9th spot. Plus he'll be able to finally rock it the way he wants to. :) Crossing my fingers and toes it's him!
