Dear God this boy is the cutest thing on the entire planet Earth. XD His little laugh was too adorable. I just want to hug him and squeeze the beejeezus out of him haha
I'm glad he said he was happy to be cut and that he seems really excited about where he's going from here. You could tell he was never really comfortable with the whole thing, it just wasn't ideal for his shy personality. I think it turned out in the best possible way for him, going just far enough to get some fans and put himself out there more without really having to compete that much. I love my little Awkward Turtle so much! XD
Aww I know, he seemed relieved and happy. :) He is totally adorable, and you're right he has many fans, considering the hits this blog gets from every corner of the world...I say all he needs is to put some music out there soon. People have already asked him to put up music or his own youtube channel. Knowing Charlie, it will take a while so I hope someone close to him will set this all up for him and he can just write and sing without worrying about judges anymore.
I'm not even holding my breath for this wildcard/tour spot. But I will sure miss my sweet Charlie. His roommate is recording already in LA. I hope Charlie hangs out with him a bit and get some recording of his own. He now knows more people in the industry, so that should help.
I'm surprised (though not really) that he hasn't tweeted, tumblrd, Facebooked, or YouTubed anything since being eliminated, even just to say "This isn't the end guys, I'll keep you all updated on what's coming next for me!" If his dad never shared anything with us, we'd have no way of even knowing he was still alive.... I understand he is a very private person but... he also needs to get used to the fact that today is a very social media-driven world. It would be a shame if he missed out on gaining potential fans simply for the fact that he doesn't communicate enough.
Off topic but a friend of mine said his eyes seem to change colors in every video he's seen. I kind of noticed that myself, I think his eyes are green in very good lighting as we saw in his audition video, but then in other videos his eyes look dark brownish.... I doubt he wears colored contacts though, it must just be weird lighting issues. Another mystery, not knowing what freakin' color his eyes are! XD
And that right there is my worry. Not that he doesn't understand about the media driven world but that he doesn't feel the need to do it because his mind is on other things. He's stated many times how private he is...so that's why I was saying someone else should do this for him. Sister, uncle, friend, whoever.
Yes , I was talking about Mateus. He's a nut. He filmed Charlie sleeping supposedly snoring but i couldn't hear it. Poor Charlie has been sleeping on the floor this whole time.
Now, this is coming from the idol forums concerning the 6th place contestant It's interesting, I wonder how valid it is:

Cortez and Elijah are still giving off every indication that they're out.
Nick wrote "You and me both!" to a fan hoping he's the wildcard for the Idol tour. BUT he also wrote a "Miss you guys!" to Peisha McPhee, who he should already be working with for his sing off. No indication yet that he's left LA.
Something tells me he wouldn't go for the idea of someone else running his social media networks for him because then it wouldn't be "real."
Hahahahah I just watched that video and Charlie looked so cute while he was sleeping, like a little angel. It was funny when he suddenly turned over. Maybe Mateus should run his social media, he revealed more of Charlie than he probably would have liked hahaha
For the wildcard thing, as much as I'd like to see Charlie sing one more time, I think they should just leave him alone at this point. He was happy to be cut and I think they should just let him be. And it would just be giving him false hope if they ended up picking the girl wildcard instead (which they probably will do) It's probably going to be Nick or maybe Vincent.
And I agree that it didn't really sound like snoring, it was more like heavy breathing and probably because his mouth was open. Maybe the snoring was coming from his dad. I laughed when Matheus got the camera into Charlie's face and he moved lol
